Grupo Guayacán Executive Director Laura Cantero and Builders Association President Ricardo Álvarez-Díaz sign the collaboration agreement.

The Puerto Rico Builders Association and Grupo Guayacán Inc. recently opened a call for its new grants program, to be managed by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation.

The ACPR-Guayacán Fellowship is supported by the Future Builders of Puerto Rico Grants Fund that for 10 years has granted scholarship to individuals in professions related to the construction industry affiliated to the Association.

The fellowship, available only to executives and employees of Builders Association member companies, will offer an individual the chance to participate in the “Entrepreneur’s Boot Camp: A Deep Dive for New Ventures” at Babson College, to be held May 22-26 in Boston.

Entrepreneur’s Boot Camp is designed to develop entrepreneurial skills and prepare participants to identify opportunities to undertake new business ventures or to launch new innovation initiatives in existing companies. The purpose of Boot Camp is to offer the tools, strategies and confidence to evaluate, determine viability, launch and grow new companies or accelerate the growth of existing companies.

The Fellowship is the first initiative carried out under the collaborative agreement between the Builders Association and Grupo Guayacán, signed last year. The deadline to participate in the Fellowship program is March 17, and winners should be notified by March 20. Interested parties should access the application online, at the following link.
