The EnterPRize Competition is Guayacán’s oldest and most established program, offered uninterruptedly since 2005. Throughout the years it has evolved from an idea to a business plan competition, and most recently to a business building competition focusing on existing start-up ventures with early sales traction. The program offers a robust curriculum of entrepreneurial education workshops covering topics from Lean Start-Up Methodology to Intellectual Property Protection, Marketing & Sales, Financials & Revenue Models, and Investment Readiness.

This is coupled with a series of coaching sessions where participants get the opportunity to pitch their ventures to a panel of local mentors that provide feedback and guidance throughout the competition. Additionally, participants benefit from mentoring and office hours with U.S. and international-based angel investors. Competition finalists are eligible to compete for $50,000 in cash prizes sponsored by GGI, as well as Special Track Prizes sponsored by our corporate partners. In 2020, Track Prizes amounted to over $200,000. The program is free-of-cost for all participants.
